The mask bears the phrase "Say something," suggesting a paradoxical situation where communication may lead to the activation of the guillotine, effectively silencing people's voice.

 

Therefore, the juxtaposition of restraints, the guillotine, and the mask in the artwork could create a powerful tension between the innate human desire for self-expression and the potential consequences or fears associated with speaking out.
